Its Once again time to start working on Operation Christmas Child. This is Operation Christmas Child’s 25th year. Operation Christmas Child, a project of Samaritan's Purse, has delivered 157 million shoeboxes to boys and girls around the world.
This year we will continue to offer the opportunity for each family to take home an empty shoebox (or 2 or 3 or 4) to pack as a family. Take the time to PRAY while packing you’re shoebox for the child that will one day receive it. Don’t forget to include a family picture and personal letter. Also, please prayerfully consider including the $9.00 needed to ship your box. Once the shoebox is filled to your satisfaction return it to the table in the fellowship hall and feel free to take another off the display.
In addition to packing shoeboxes at home as a family a date will be scheduled for having a small packing party at the church for anyone that also wants to pack boxes as a group. A packing party will also provide us with an opportunity to prepare our boxes for shipping as well. National Collection Week is November 12-19, 2018.
Containers will be available in the Fellowship hall for dropping off any donations.
